Senior Outreach Committee

 

As part of a multi-agency initiative and with the leadership and direction of our fire chief, Sheri Bemis, the Oxford Fire Department created the Senior Citizen Outreach Committee. The committee, comprised of members of the Oxford EMS, Fire, and Police Departments, meets regularly to advance programming for and about our senior citizens. So far this year the committee has successfully organized and executed a Pancake Breakfast in April, a Cookout on the Common in June, A Nature Walk at Hodges Village Dam in August, and a Health Fair/Open House in September.
